Daysha - Manager.Lead Barber

she/her

Daysha has been in the heart of PDX for 24 years and cutting hair with the best of them for 20. She considers barbering as less of a job and more of a fun, professional hobby. She loves making the people of Portland look and feel good! Her specialty is super short blurry fades.

When Daysha isn't behind the chair, she is making sure the shop runs smoothly as the manager. She loves exploring PDX, petting ALL the dogs, going to yummy vegan restaurants and attending live music shows.

Taryn - Barber.Colorist

they/them

The balance of science and art drew Taryn into the world of hair. For over ten years they’ve devoted themself to the pursuit of well executed cuts, colors and beard grooming. Taryn is detail obsessed and their specialties include short styles, fades, quirky-cool looks, fixing haircuts gone awry, and gender-confirming cuts. Their goal is to help everyone achieve a style that lets them feel as great as they look!

When not cutting hair Taryn enjoys checking out the local music scene, finding a good bite to eat and trying out new hobbies and activities.

Best haircut I’ve gotten in ten years. The place has a great vibe. ... Whole staff was client oriented and acted as ambassadors for the city - offering recommendations for places to eat and drink.

Best barber shop in Portland and equal to anyone nationwide. Jaimee and team do awesome cuts in a chill, relaxed and fun environment (the music and drinks are always great). Totally worth the trip to downtown. You will feel good supporting a downtown business without compromising on a great experience.

Made a visit to Bridgetown Barber Society while on a trip and it was absolutely worth the stop. From the wonderful service to the fun atmosphere and welcoming hospitality it’s a truly great space. Daysha did a phenomenal job and I got both a great fresh cut and a fun and engaging conversation. 10/10, 5 stars, don’t sleep on this place!

Usually I ask for a haircut and beard trim. I go to Taryn. It is the favorite part of my day. She has always been terrific. I get lots of compliments and enjoy the experience. What more can you ask for?

As a man with coarse, white-guy hair that doesn’t survive thrifty haircuts, Bridgetown gets my solid vote of confidence.

I’ve been coming here consistently for over two years now. Jaimee has primarily cut my hair, but I’ve also had cuts and trims from a few of the other ladies on staff. Everyone here is courteous, attentive, and experienced.

Stop by, have a drink, a trim, a shave, and a laugh. You can trust Bridgetown with your hair!
